Red Kap bib overalls are the BEST!
I have always used Red Kap overalls.
They are top of the line in my book! It is all I will wear. I have had to use some other brands in the past but they do not stand up to these. I think that Red Kap overalls made of better quality material. I want to encourage you to keep up the great work on a wonderful product. I will always wear them.
Much better than typical farmer's overalls
These mechanic's bib overalls have a high back which keeps the shoulder straps from slipping off like they do with farmer's overalls. The single, large breast pocket is big enough to hold your wallet and phone plus other valuables while working, and is easier to access than the double breast pockets on typical overalls, and the single-snap flap is sewn in a way that absolutely keeps items from falling out. Much better for working outdoors in rough brush, chaparral, and forest than farmer's overalls. You can also order the precise size (waist and inseam) that you want, but for best fit, as with most bib overalls, order the waist size that is the next size up (e.g., for 34 waist, order 36.) If you have IBS or bloat or other intestinal problems like I do, garments like this will not squeeze your middle when you stoop, squat, or bend over and therefore you'll be much more comfortable than wearing pants with a belt which pinches your midsection.
Very good overalls, so glad to find one with button fly.
GrandPa's Denim Overall Meet the 21st Century
I usually wear a long sleeved coverall when I do mechanical work on my vehicles. But recently, the weather has been so hot, I switched to the more open (sleeveless) overall, the kind my grandpa (a hay farmer) used to wear.
Red Kap overall are extremely well made, using a light weight denim with attractive white stitching, and over stitched (in red) in critical areas, like button holes and joints. Equally importantly, they FIT. I ordered a 34 W, 30 L and that is exactly what I got!! They also come with a variety of useful full and specialized pockets, front and back.
I wore them into a local Starbucks and immediately got favorable comments about how they (and I hope not me) reminded people of a favorite grandpa who used to wear these on a daily basis.
My only quibble with them is the fly buttons are too small, making them difficult to use. A zipper would perhaps be more useful.
So how does this classic dress item meet the 21st century? It is missing the rear flap that one used to find on earlier models! But the easy to disconnect shoulder straps serve equally well and remove the possible embarrassment of an unintentionally "lowered" rear flap!
These are the best overalls you can buy and the
quality is tops. I like everything about the overalls and uniform shirts and uniform pants, can't beat them. I will always buy work clothes from Red Cap.
I will recommend these items for sure.
